OK, maybe I’m being a little dramatic, but seriously, there’s literally nothing worse than self-doubt and its’ limiting capabilities. You’re basically standing in the way of yourself… which kind of makes no sense anyway, right? We often make up all these excuses as to why we can’t do something for fear of failing or looking bad in the process. Trust me, I’ve totally been there, too.
Enter one of my fave quotes: “Fear kills more dreams than failure ever will.”
And it’s just like that – the fear of going after what you really want, stops you from going after that thing in the first place. You’ve stopped before you’ve even started. Whether that’s a new job, moving cities or striking up a convo with that hottie from the gym, making negative assumptions of a situation that may not have happened yet, only leads to negative results. After all, a dream will stay a dream, until you do something about it.
WHAT IF you stopped questioning yourself, your creativity, your ideas and your aspirations? What could be possible for you, if you just pushed that doubt aside? Look for where there is proof that you’re a total bad a** and focus on shifting your mindset to truly believe it. When you allow positive vibes to enter freely, you actually create more space for bringing your ideas and goals to life. Maybe that’s by way of positive affirmations, or a little self-love, but our minds are more powerful than we give them credit for. If you believed in Santa Claus for 8 years, I think you can believe in yourself for 5 minutes 😉
